Poppy Polding No. 6

Poppy Polding No. 6 is heartcrafted from handcrafted paper, lampshade film, wood and acrylic, finished with fine gold detailing. Its form is defined by layered vertical stripes that continue across the shade and body, creating a cohesive composition of rhythm and color.

On one side, stripes in Brass in August (orange), Azure in Passing (blue), Lilac Remains (lilac), and Remembrance of Moss (mint pastel) alternate in varying widths, outlined in gold. The reverse side features a more symmetrical rhythm, with repeating vertical bands in Azure in Passing (blue), Brass in August (orange), and Porcelain Days (cream).

One of the defining elements of this piece is its handmade paper — chosen not only for its subtle color palette but for its texture and structure.Each sheet carries its own quiet character. Variations in fiber and transparency shape how light moves through the lamp, creating depth, softness, and warmth within a space.

By day, almost like a sculpture, striking even when off. By night, a glow that feels intimate and warm, shifting with you and the room.

Shade, body, and foot are fully illuminated, creating a soft, even glow that brings depth and warmth to the room.

Each lamp is made to order in a limited edition of ten and comes with a birth certificate.
